 In a recent distribution of sample products to our partner group members we included a sample of Swift Lite charcoals. These hookah charcoals are of the quick light variety and very similar to the popular Three Kings and Rollands brands. Here are some excerpts of reviews from our pratner groups:

"In the world of quick light hookah charcoals, there are Goldens and Three Kings and then there is everybody else. The other brands of charcoal seem to range from so-so but usable in pinch to terrible, useful only to light cheep incense in the home of someone you truly hate. Swift-Lite Charcoals are one of the worst brands we have ever tried…ever. They smell terrible like a cross between one of Mike Tyson’s unwashed jock straps and a moldy towel. They take several tries to light and when they finally start to burn they quickly develop an ashy coating the color of sulfur dust. Does that seem like something you want to inhale the vapors from? If one of your hookah smoking buddies suggests you try Swift-Lite Charcoals, you might not want to be friends with that person anymore."
Suburban Smokers
"...Best [quick light] coals any of us have used. They light with almost no sparking and popping...almost no coal taste, normal burn time (40 minute), and no explosions made it a great coal."
As you can see we at Hookah Life are still somewhat divided as to which direction to take. Should we carry the new Swift Lite coals or not?
